ARIAN ART 's product process:
1 - Getting an order to start design of clay-bas-relief
2 - Make a contract with client
3 -Design Process: A design for a client has to fit a ,specific set of requirements so it's only natural that
the process to figure out what client needs to produce aneffective output is based on a logical flow.
4 - The designer creates a design draft and asks the clientfor feedback . ..response, then review
and confirm the changes they're requesting.
5 - Drafting Hand-Drawn Designs with AutoCAD
6 - Plot AutoCAD drawing at a specific scale
7 - Making the clay slabs: place clay on the plastic between the strips of wood and roll out.Use a
pointed tool to trim the slab of clay to desired size"
8 - Transferring the pattern to a slab, put the pattern on the clay and press with your hands or a tool.
9 - Carving process: The process of carving breaks down into two basic categories: low and high relief.
Carve away the negative space areas with different loop tools and our specific carving techniques.
10 - Cutting the carved clay piece into little tiles

11 - Cleaning up the surface: The clay-bas-relief will likely need cleaning since small pieces of clay often stick to some portion of …
12 - Making texture on the clay surface
13 - Numbering tiles: we number the parts so we can engrave the numbers and "which way up arrows"
on the back because with many tiles now it can get really confusing because it is like a giant puzzle.
14 - Timing and Drying: Timing is crucial with this process. Try to dry the piece very slowly due to
inconsistent thicknesses created by carving
15 - Firing: Firing is the process of baking and hardening clay tiles. The high temperature fuses the
clay particles together hardening the clay. Temperatures in kilns can reach 850 degrees.
16 - Glaze: Glazing on relief tiles will vary in thickness and as a result the glazing may appear
darker and lighter
17- Firing: Glaze is fixed by firing the bisque ware in a kiln.
18 - Paint and Patina the tiles: In a variety of textures , such as clear finish or matte finish, that are
directly applied to the piece. For more realistic colors , sealing the surface to be covered with clear or base
paint color will allow the final coating color to adhere easily, This may be latex paint acrylic and oil colors.
19 - Installing the tiles on the wall
